This probably means you have a WiFi network that is busy or has a weak signal. Also, if you can, try to use a network configured with just one WiFi hop like the one pictured here:

The ethernet cable can be very long so you can move the router to the center of your studio. We use this configuration at trade shows and get very high performance, even with hundreds of other WiFi networks around us.
